Each year the MGWWC offers a limited number of scholarships and grants to those who meet our criteria.

n 2013 MGWWC has awarded
the foll
owing in grants and donations:
Taylor Conservatory - March 2013
At our March General Membership Meeting MGWWC presented Patty Donahue with a $500 Grant check for the Taylor Conservatory. This money will help assist an Eagle Scout with the funds needed to buy native plants, plant markers and other supplies for his woodland beautification and restoration project.
Garden Club of Central United Methodist Church
In March our Board approved a grant for $525.39 to GCCUMC for supplies and materials to build and maintain a gutter garden on the rooftop of the Central United Church
Brenda's Butterfly Habitat
In March our Board approved a $250 donation to Brenda's Butterfly Habitat for mulch and new plants.
Over $500 has been given away in the form of cash and various donated items
In 2012 MGWWC provided $500 scholarships to 2 deserving individuals.
In 2011 MGWWC provided
$1,822.19 in grants.
Scholarships are available for individuals in the horticulture and/or related fields.
Grants are also available for non-profit groups who need funding for community gardens.
