There are many ways to get your Volunteer hours.  Depending upon your interests and availability you can work on many different special projects with MGWWC at the MSU Extension office at Venoy or contribute your time to help and educate the public at any number of outside organizations. Listed below are MGWWC committees that need assistance, descriptions and contact info.  Click on name(s) to send an email. Demonstration Garden

 The kick-off meeting for the Demonstration Garden was held on January 10th. The purpose of the meeting was come together and form a Demonstration Garden team and then to generate some really great ideas to get kids excited about gardening ( nutrition, science, reading...).   When the seasons begin to change, and we can do some hands-on work, there will be one weekday evening and one weekend day planned to implement our wonderful ideas.

I look forward to working with you in the garden this summer.

A sub committee for the Venoy Grounds creates an action plan each year. Special work days are scheduled with the MG Coordinator when all are invited to participate. Volunteers may work in the garden any day that the MG Coordinator is available.  Contact Jane or Sharon to join our sub committee or for more info about work projects.
