Presidential Service Awards
MGWWC members are giving people! Many members complete volunteer hours in their communities. Besides Master Gardener volunteer work, they volunteer at their churches, libraries, deliver Meals on Wheels and do other wonderful work in their communities. MGWWC likes to recognize the volunteer work of their members with a Presidential Service Award each year. The awards are based on hours completed during a current calendar year:
100-249 hours: Bronze Award
250-499 hours: Silver Award
500+ hours: Gold Award
Work other than Master Gardener volunteer hours should be turned in to Barb Johnson at the end of each year. Master Gardener hours of current certified Master Gardeners will be collected by Barb after they are entered on Volunteer Central. It is appreciated when members honor the deadline and turn in their hours by December 31. This is a complimentary service provided to PAID members of MGWWC.
